CIGARETTE SMOKING IS INJURIOUS TO HEALTH

There are good people in this world, who are chain-smokers.....one cigarette after another.....there is one my friend, who repairs cameras....when i sit with him for my work of camera repair, i see a cigarette in his hand every after 10 minutes....he will smoke, keep it aside, then tighten a screw and again cigarette will go into his lips....and there is smoke everywhere in his shop...thanks god that i am not allergic, otherwise the other people cannot sit there beside him...and on occasions i found people handing over their cameras, narrating the faults and for fear of smoke, they just walk away, taking time...and then collect their items...Many a occasions, I asked him the reason and he says ''he doesn't get the mood.''...he has crossed 55 and i try to persuade him to stop, but the poor fellow is reluctant....so also I found people in hotels, in parks (though it is prohibited at public places), just picking up the lighter and light the cigarette....they are so addicted, that despite warnings from friends they are unable to get rid of it...previously there was warning on the cigarette packets ''cigarette smoking is injurious to health'', and now I heard that govt have instructed the cigarette companies to print a picture of skull on the packet, besides the warning....But this is not the single incident, the young generation coming up, having cigarettes behind their backs on the main squares, or they recede behind a building, when see a policeman etc....There is a recent ban in a local Girls' college against smoking in the classrooms and college premises...we cannot imagine a girl smoking a cigarette, because India is an orthodox country...Still there are bars, pubs in big towns where even this genre is enjoying everything because they are from higher classes......now also mingling their friends from middle classes, who have started earning.....they have to lie their parents....and in their language: WHO CARES? .........the addiction does not go.
