A FRIEND IN NEED IS FRIEND INDEED!!
IT is mobiles all the way. Every second mobile has new design, features, colour, screen, so is the every second person on earth is most eager to have one. it is a status symbol for many, i think they are over-extroverts, because the machine has become so much common that even a young maid-servant talks to her boy friend, who is more stylish than the mob.phone.
2. It is not much time passed of the good old days, when giving a higher price for a b&w mobile and having pride, when the ring belled and a fine piece with all glory goes near the ear and the owner was conscious that it does not go into the pocket so early.....therefore, he carried on the talk looking at the sky or at roof and a cigarette in other hand.
3. Time changed fast and the mobiles which were imported started indigenously manufactured, bringing down the cost...Now the colour screen dominated with higher end features like camera, MP3, bluetooth,FM radios.. IT HAS BECOME A SECOND NATURE OF MEN AND WOMEN..IT helped more contactable boy-friend & girl-friend relationships, in the orthodox India, because both came to the new towns for studies.....I saw one guy in a park, sitting in a dark corner, viewing her paramour's face in the screen-light. In mobiles most user-friendly feature is the SMS and the figures went into crores SMS in a year. Another incident i witnessed when two boys and a girl were talking/gossiping...In the meantime the girl left for her hostel....One guy got the ring on his mobile and casually spoke ''yea darling''..He received the phone from other girl, but the other boy thought that the girl left has rang him and he shouted on his friend, ''rubbish, dirty guy, give me the phone'' and it was not a mock fight...However after few blows they were separated by their other colleagues...but the boy who was hurt for nothing left saying ''i'll see u fool''. I thanked God, it were not two groups, then the results can be guessed.
4. I am sorry at what we see the good and funny consequences of this small device.. NOT MUCH TIME PASSED, ONE GUY WAS GOING WITH FM ON and a romantic song was played...He passed through a house, where the owner's daughter was standing....she saw the guy and smiled, but the guy was going on his way unmindful of this. Unfortunately, the girl's brother noticed her gesture and came out and jumped on the innocent guy squeezing his collar with fine rememberable abuses...The guy was lucky...the onlookers immediately came in between and separated the two. Was it for something or nothing?....There is hot sale of mobiles each day and the bell continuously rings...there are many incidences to relate....anyhow LONG LIVE MOBILE PHONE and its generation.
5. In my school days, i heard the proverb ''a friend in need is a friend indeed''....this goes more relevant to mobile phones.....at homes, rly stations, bus stands, hotels, shops, offices, temples, buses, autos, milkman, shoemaker, vendors, schools, colleges, in air, in sea...it is OMNI-PRESENT.
