KEEP YOUR PRIVACY FROM CHILDREN.
2. So hectored have parents been by the demand that they be 'frank', that many have violated their own natural feelings of modesty in the for of sex education. One ''overjoyed'' mother was upset because she did not feel comfortable when nude in front of her children....Another instance says that a father was upset because his four year daughter wanted to watch him in the toilet....He might have guiltily felt that he should satisfy her curiosity but admitted that he didn't want to.
3. In the opinion of experts such immodest behaviour is unwise and possibly dangerous. Quite often it may arise a premature erotic interest subconsciously and may also produce a serious conflict in the child who realizes that his parents are not behaving naturally. Parents should stop feeling that there ought to be no secrets between themselves and their children. It is a wrong and overestimated notion. That shows that they were unable to understand the psychology of their children, or could not react in a proper sense. See the talk of the 4 years...the boy tells the girl that you do not have 'this' one. This is a state of confusion between children and their parents. Here patience is the best virtue.
