CBSE AND CHILDREN

CBSE New Delhi has created a new sort of brain drain. They are draining the small children's brains by over-burdening them with the new system of studies. .There is a headline in a local newspaper -''parents aghast-children tortured'' on the changed pattern by the CBSE Board, by introducing weekly tests of differents subjects and the Project system, burdening the parents more than the children. What is it called (CCE)-Continuous Comprehensive Evolution.
--Do the honourable members remember their days of studies. They are on the earth and enjoying all facilities but want to send today's children to other planets immatured with an empty brain. Next is the burden on parents who complete the projects by paper cuttings, other data, photographs(source unknown) and spend a good amount of money on acquiring many these from the market. One student said that project has to be submitted every week despite difficult/unbearable conditions. One parent says, he is also involved leaving his urgent works collecting materials from market and help child to finish it.
--THE OUTCOME:children getting tension on increase of test studies and project work.
--They are passing sleepless nights/getting less sleep.
--Financial burden on parents besides mental and physical involvement.
--Regular studies being disturbed.
--The projects are in thname of extra activities--where is time to relax-there is coaching, homework etc.
--The teachers too are overburdened because of children's envolvement in projects/completion of homework. CCE has come other way round--it was conceived to reduce burden on studies but the things have gone opposite...The immature brains of children are put to unwanted pressure. The authorities should be mild not tough--it is study not punishment.
