LIFE AS WE SEE

THERE ARE HUE & CRY TO GO ECO-FRIENDLY. But in today's every minute changing world, this rather becomes impossible, having multi-storeyed schools,colleges. Either the management or the stundents should be aware of the pollution crept in one form or the other...Things have their own place and here I put an example of pollution free, eco-friendly and full of simplicity unimaginable with the metros or big cities people....This is a school called Aman Setu school, (bridge of peace), located at the outskirts of Pune having green fields outstretched eitherside of a two storeyed structure with 4 classrooms. The students sit on ratten mats on a cowdung plastered floor. The textbooks they use are handed over to them from other pass out students. The students grow their own vegetables in the adjacent small garden. The school structure is made of recycled material e.g roof from old hoardings, walls from plastic bottles. The uniforms are hand-stitched either from 'khadi' or hand-spun cloth...I remember such huts in villages, besides the pucca houses of the affordables. No hustle-bustle of cities and towns, no smoke-ridden traffic...The concentration is only on work or study..Times change, so villages but still thousands are eco-friendly houses in these villages, which reminds me of this school of Pune.

MISS GLOBE I.I.2011-BHOPAL

YES SHE IS HERE....PARUL DUGGAL from Bhopal, who is now Miss Globe International India,2011 in the competition held in Mehboob Studio in Mumbai recently. She was also awarded for 'Best Figure'. She will now compete for Miss Globe International in the year end to be held in Europe....She will be one amongst 85 beauties from all over the world. She has the great credit to be the first Indian to compete in the aforesaid competition... Congrats to her also for getting scholarship of
one year PG Course in Fashion Designing in Milan Italy. I have mentioned in my blog www.newsviewsshroti.blogspot.com few days back when she was amongst the 20 contestants selected from all over India for I Am She Miss Universe India 2011 from Bhopal....Now let us hope for the best for her to be first Indian in Miss Globe International 2011....and she is confident too as she spoke in her interview.(in photo she is with Sush, the organiser,Tantra Entertainment Pvt Ltd.).

KATHAK ON ICE BARS

Keya Gupta from Bhopal should be an idol for the young upcoming dancers. TO DANCE ON ICE BARS IS AN experiment Keya did and now performed on the SONI TV's reality show ''Entertainment ke liye kuchh bhi karega''. The judges were Anu Malik and Farha Khan. Strange enough, for bringing some novelty into the Kathak, and to enter the reality show, which needs something different, Keya practised by standing on the ice bars and stretched the time upto 20 minutes successfully. Then she gave the audition in May'11 here and was selected. She danced in the show on 16 ice bars joined together as a platform. The song she chose was from Devdas 'Hampe ye kisne rang dala'. She did dance for 2.30 minutes, having the clappings from the audience from the beginning itself. Farha and Anu Malik both congratulated Keya and Farha herself came to the ice stage but could hardly managed for 6 seconds only. Keya was given a cheque for Rs.11,121 as a commending gesture. Keya owed her devotion to her guru V Anuradha Singh...Congrats Keya, u kept Bhopal high.
