An ad says ''shop and get two litres of petrol free''...This is the indication how price rise has affected the common man's life...Next it is expected to be intended for future to come when environment pollution will pose more problems and then the ad will say ''SHOP & GET 2 LITRS OF WATER FREE''....LORD FORBID...this shd not come true!

MARRIAGES IN NEW STYLES

Who is not curious to attend friend/relative's marriage. I saw people talk about others ''when his son/daughter is being married''. They have more worries than the parents of the bride or groom. Howeve high society marriages have become different from conventional marriages. The parties alongwith Event Managers are selecting sports grounds, wildlife places where the ''baratis'' are enjoying and celebrating marriages by playing cricket, polo and other games. Mehandi party in national park, both sides enjoying carnival capers etc.The parks,palaces,hotels are becoming less popular. Can u imagine, cricket match and marriage...yes it is there now in private grounds with limited overs. This trend is towards wild rather than enjoyment and cozy reception in five stars hotels. There are elephants, camels, horses to give entertainments to the new thinking. Only thick purses will suffice. And u are on the cloud nine in your nephew/niece's marriage. For example Hollywood stars Kate Perry & Russell Brand celebrated their wedding function in a wild life resort in India....Be ready for new charms in any of ur relative or friend's marriage. There are lines coming down from trains, buses...find one friend and make home for self and others.Some are sober, sincere to studies..but other nuisance creators.It seems the music is in their veins and they have come down with the training by Pt Ravishankar..Admissions start, ragging goes (small), make groups, visit canteens and think life is enjoyable without any achievement..If somebody goes to persuade them, they start discussions.No doubt, neighbours suffer. Sometimes we went to pacify the houseowners for not keeping the students...However in lure for getting money,he will rent the house to more boys or girls with different individual rents in more small rooms, while they will give to only one family the same accommodation,thus bearing an earning loss.Next the houseowners do not report regarding the residents to the police authories, as made by law.On the part of administration,they shd make a regular chart of colonowise rented students, families so they can have upper hand. But as is seen, they generally avoid to go to police station etc.many come for study not for quarrels.

THE PEACE OF THE COLONY IS DISTURBED. Ladies and girls independence and privacy is affected The Police Admn is keeping mum.They shd verify every individual's nomenclature, so that in future, no untoward incident takes place. Few years back, the houses were hired by the good families, bank employees etc and there were no shoutings, singing dirty songs. Now the house-owners themselves give room on hire to students. The students take the room on sharing basis, so less expenditure is accounted for.This started with greedy people or houseowners. They partitioned the rooms and taking meal charges. In these instances, few people r benefitted, but the problems of neighbours have increased manifold.--Singing, shouting, garbage trowing, any time come & go despite rules. The outspoken and extra vigilant girls and boys sit on the steps of closed shop with beer,bottle or pouch after 10.30 p.m.. Do their parents know this? Nothing?

The houseowners throw people's objections in the dustbin. Their contention is that they get more money from more students rather than a single family(may be of 4). OTHERS ARE more rude and say they will give their house to whom they like...This is adamancy.
